There are many benefits that becoming a volunteer with the Memphis Chapter of PMI will bring to you. Whether you take on a board level or assistant role, you'll gain experience and knowldedge that will help you as you grow and develop in your career.

In this section of our website, we have provided many of the job descriptions that identify the kinds of work and support that helps the chapter succeed and  helps our volunteers earn PDU's, learn and give back to the community. Note that these job / role desriptions evolve over time and should be viewed as general guidelines....not rigid job definitions. Based on the talent/skill and available time from our voulunteers, we may combine or restructure roles to meet the ever changing needs of our members and the community.

Activites in this categroy include maintaing meeting minutes, developing and managing methods of communication regarding PMI and Memphis Chapter issues including the PMI Memphis website.

Involves marketing chapter programs and maintaining business outreach programs and alliances.

Developing and maintaining chapter membership and helping to ensure programs add value for existing members.

Management of monthly and educational programs inluding partnerships with local universities.

Each sanctioned local chapter of the global PMI organization elects a President and a Board of Directors. In this category, you will find job descriptions for the Memphis Chapter's leadership team. This categroy inlcudes an "Org Chart" style of representing the various volunteer roles that members and others may have interest in learning more about.
