Senior Project Manager Wanted for a 6 month Contract to Possible Hire opportunity!

Will be responsible for managing multiple small to medium development projects.  Project Manager or PM, will provide direct interface to the internal customer.  Project Manager or PM will work with both onshore and offshore teams to deliver development projects within the supported legacy environment.  Must be able to control and manage project scope, timelines, estimates and project milestones and deliverables.  Will be responsible for providing estimates for new development work and SLA reporting for projects.

Starting Pay Rate:  $48 to $54 per hour based on experience 

Requirements

·         5+ years of Strong Project Management capabilities in an applications environment.

·         PMP Certification strongly preferred.

·         Strong customer interface skills.

·         Good oral and written communications skills.

·         Self starter and ability to multitask 

·         Ability to work in a rapid and changing environment. 

·         Ability to work in a matrix organization including offshore resources.  

·         Experience creating and managing Microsoft Project schedules.

·         Knowledge of software engineering metrics:  data collection and reporting. 

·         Working knowledge of MSPS or Microsoft Project Server a plus.
