We are looking to fill this full time position immediately. Salary range $60,000
to $90,000 and possibility of relocation reimbursement dependant upon
qualifications
Protech Solutions Inc. is seeking a Project/Program manager candidate who is
passionate about their job and has the management expertise to lead teams, work
well with peers, who thrives in a dynamic IT development environment.
- Providing team leadership including assigning and managing tasks ensuring
efficient and accurate delivery of assignments as well as general resource
management duties.
- Gathering, analyzing, documenting, designing and validating the requirements
and enhancements
- Ensuring team tasks have been completed and that schedules) are on time.
- Acting as team leader, mentor, and life cycle expert - this is a
Leadership/Analyst/Quality assurance position.

*****ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*****
- Perform in a project/team lead and/or supervisory capacity that may include
day-to-day task, resource, and risk management, staff mentorship and evaluation,
work delegation, conducting team meetings, composing project documentation, and
delivering project communications.
- Enables conditions for empowered teams through setting team objectives,
defining authority and clear responsibilities, collaboration maps, and results
measurement.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

competitive product analysis, as needed.
- Writes requirements specifications according to a standard template, using
simple, clear, and concise language.
- Translates high-level business and user requirements into functional
requirements and quality levels, specified in the appropriate detail suitable to
be used developers.
- Defines quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other
nonfunctional requirements.
- Defines the requirements using alternative views, such as diagrams, prototypes
or scenarios where appropriate in order to visualize the required functions.
- Follows standard practices to resolve complex problems.
- Position requires designing, preparing, and performing the appropriate
software tests, such as smoke tests, regression tests, functional tests, and
performance tests at a low level.
- Position will require uncovering and detecting software defects though
systematic testing as various levels of the software development and the
tracking and reporting of those defects.
******REQUIREMENTS*****
Minimum (10) years experience in leadership and project management roles.
Government based project management experience in Information Technology would
be very advantageous.
Advanced analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from
multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, and translating high level information
into details that will be understood by the team.
Excellent research, critical thinking and problem solving skills with a superior
attention to detail.
Advanced interviewing skills to communicate with individuals and groups about
their needs by asking the right questions to ascertain essential requirements
information.
Advanced listening skills to understand and interpret what people say and to
detect what they might not be saying.
Has a track record of setting and achieving goals as well as holding self and
others accountable for making decisions and achieving results.
Must be flexible, dependable, capable of multi-tasking, and capable of quickly
learning complex technical concepts.
Strong facilitation skills to lead the various meetings along the software
development life cycle, such as the kick off meeting, status update meetings,
change request, and design reviews.
Ability to organize and prioritize a large volume of work and handle multiple
projects at a time.
Superior verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate
self initiative and ability to work in a team environment.
